Quoins is a traditional small vineyard, tucked away on the edge of the Cotswolds, produces 3000 bottles a year from one hectare of vines. Wild flowers and over a hundred fruit, nut and forest trees flourish around the vines, and the area is a haven for wildlife. The vineyard is registered organic and biodynamic practices are also used.
Location
The vineyard is close to Bradford-on-Avon, just 7 miles from the centre of Bath. The vineyard is small yet charming and includes plantings of fruit trees around the edge, many of which are unusual species or varieties.
Visiting Quoins
Groups such as hen parties are very welcome, and as well as a tour and tasting can include gourmet picnics of local produce, part of the owner's commitment to local food sourcing. The vineyard is a real family affair, and with their wealth of experience of organic and biodynamic production there's a lot to learn from a visit to Quoins, as well as enjoying their wines.
