In the autumn, wine and the grape harvest provide the inspiration for a wide range of activities, highlighted by the warm colours of the vineyards and vineyards spread throughout the municipality, as part of the “Alenquer, Land of Vineyards and Wine” programme.

The municipality is, admittedly, one of the most influential wine-producing areas in the country. For this reason, the municipality has promoted the “Alma do Vinho” event, which is already a nationally renowned festival that affirms Alenquer and its deep roots in the culture of vines and wine. Over the last few editions, Alma do Vinho has received an average of 40 thousand visitors and provided activities and proposals in the areas of winemaking, but also culture, gastronomy, sports and leisure activities.
