As of 6th January 2025, WineAdventurers.co.uk will implement the following payment terms and conditions:

1. ABOUT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.1. These Terms of Service (as may be amended from time to time) set out the terms on which we provide all our services to you (whether directly or indirectly), including without limitation the basis on which we act as an agent on behalf of any provider of wine experiences promoting experiences on WineAdventurers.co.uk (the “Partner”). By accessing, browsing, and using any website maintained by us, including without limitation the website at www.wineadventurers.co.uk and our social networking pages (together the “Website”), or communicating with us either by telephone, electronically, and/or by completing a reservation, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1.2. WineAdventurers.co.uk may at any time modify these Terms of Service. You will receive a notice of any changes to these terms either by email (to the email address registered by you on the website) or via posting on the website, and this notice shall be deemed given at the date of email delivery/publishing.

1.3. By continuing to use the Website after changes to these Terms of Service are made and notified to you, you agree to be bound by such changes.

1.4. You can review the most current version of our Terms of Service at any time by clicking on the “Terms of Service” link located on the Website footer. The most current version displayed on that page will supersede all previous versions.

2. PRICES, PAYMENTS, AND INVOICING

2.1. COMMISSION MODEL

WineAdventurers.co.uk charges a commission per confirmed purchase and booking as follows:

  • 15% of the transaction value per person for wine and or booking experiences with the “instant confirmation” booking model.

2.2. PAYMENT TO THE EXPERIENCE PROVIDER

Wine sales

  • All fees collected for the sale and shipping of wines are paid directly to the vendor minus commission as soon and the wines have been dispatched with tracking details and the order is set to completed.
    • Via bank transfer (Partners must provide accurate bank account details in their profile).
    • To connected Stripe or PayPal account (Needs to be authenticated, Other payment provider fee may apply).

Event bookings:

  • Events books online can be cancelled before 48 hours prior to the event. 
  • All fees are held until 48 hours prior to event before being forwarded to the vendor account details after taking a 15% commission.
  • Calendar and dates should be kept in sync via a Google calendar connection to ensure double booking made via other sites

3. INVOICING, VAT, TAXES, AND LEGALIZATION

3.1. WineAdventurers.co.uk as an Intermediary Service

  • WineAdventurers.co.uk provides a customer payment mediation service for wine experiences on behalf of the Partners registered on our website. We act as an intermediary between the Partner and the end customer, not as a reseller.

3.2. Customer Payment and Receipt

  • When customers purchase wine or book a wine experience, they make an online payment via our secure payment system. The payment is held and paid out to the Partner’s account when the wine has been delivered or the 48 hours prior to any booked event experience has been successfully completed.
  • Upon payment, a receipt is automatically generated for the customer on behalf of the Partner, indicating that the Partner is the provider of the experience. The Partner will also receive a copy of this receipt.

3.3. Customer Invoicing

  • As an intermediary, WineAdventurers.co.uk cannot provide the customer with an invoice for the experience purchased. If the customer requests an invoice, it is the Partner’s responsibility to provide one.
  • Partners render their services directly to the customer and are responsible for providing an invoice upon request.
  • All necessary information on customers who booked your activity via WineAdventurers.co.uk is available in your online account.

3.4. Payment and Invoice to the Partner

  • WineAdventurers.co.uk will issue an invoice compliant with applicable VAT regulations each invoicing period, detailing the commission cost owed for that period and summarising total earnings (listed price minus commission).
