Shipping and delivery
Wine Adventurer works with vineyards and wine partners to help customers discover and buy selected wines through the Wine Cellar.
This page explains our current shipping approach for wine orders placed through Wine Adventurer.
Delivery charge
Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you place your order.
Shipping is currently calculated by bottle count, starting at £13.75 for a single bottle.
Current Wine Cellar shipping examples:

The final delivery charge is calculated at checkout and should be checked before you place your order.
The delivery charge helps cover suitable wine packaging, handling and courier delivery.
Where we deliver
At this stage, delivery options may vary depending on the wine, vineyard partner, fulfilment partner and delivery address.
If we cannot deliver a wine order to your address, we will contact you before dispatch. Where we cannot fulfil the order, we will cancel and refund it.
Dispatch times
Dispatch times may vary depending on stock availability and the vineyard or fulfilment partner involved.
If your order is urgent, please contact Wine Adventurer before ordering so we can confirm whether the delivery timescale is likely to work for you.
Unless a different delivery timescale is agreed with you, we aim to deliver goods within 30 days of your order being accepted.
Wine packaging
Wine will be packed for safe delivery using suitable wine packaging.
Please check your delivery when it arrives. If the parcel or bottles appear damaged, please take photographs of the packaging and contents before disposing of anything.
Age restriction
Wine can only be purchased by customers aged 18 or over.
By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
Age verification may be required before delivery is completed. If the person receiving the delivery appears to be under 18, photo ID may be requested by the courier or delivery partner. Delivery may be refused if suitable age verification is not provided.
Please make sure an adult aged 18 or over is available to receive the delivery.
Delivery problems
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible with:
- your order number;
- the wine ordered;
- photographs of the outer packaging;
- photographs of the damaged or incorrect items;
- a short explanation of the problem.
We will review the issue and advise the next step.
