Description

A serious and rich style of rosé that is still pretty and delicate in it’s own right. Pinot Noir and Seyval Blanc were blended together as a white wine to give us the profile that we were looking for as the perfect rosé base wine, before introducing a small amount of Precoce red wine.

A vibrant and pretty Rosé on the eye with aromas of wild strawberry and rhubarb and custard, backed up by rich notes of freshly baked fruit scones. The palate shows vibrant wild strawberry, cranberry and red berry compote which is supported by notes of toasted wholewheat bread and granola.
This is a wine that delicately fruit focused with a rich, complex and savoury backbone in support.

Ian & Tess created JoJo’s Vineyard with a single passion and aim: to make the finest English still and sparkling wines. Coming from agricultural and scientific backgrounds with a keen interest in wine, it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to combine a passion for modern technological, sustainable and ecological agriculture with our shared love of viticulture and traditional winemaking.

JoJo’s is based high in the picturesque Chiltern Hills close to Henley on Thames, and boasts the perfect chalky south/south western facing slopes to grow exceptional grapes for wine.

We planted 9,000 vines in 2019 which will eventually produce up to 12,000 bottles of artisanal fine still and sparkling wines per year.

Our first still wine, JoJo’s Bacchus – Seyval Blanc, was released in September 2022.
