JoJo’s Premiere Cuvee

Description

Our Cuvee Classic white wine is rich and complex with the focus on it being a fine wine first and foremost, a sparkling wine second to that. The colour of this wine shows its oxidative style and hints towards its ageing in neutral French oak vessels. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir (including some Pinot Meunier) and Pinot Blanc were fermented separately in both French oak and stainless steel. These separate components have come together to create a wine that is layered and full bodied, yet elegant at the same time.

The colour of this wine shows its oxidative style and hints towards its ageing in neutral French oak vessels. The nose is rich and inviting with notes of apple strudel, white peach and linseed. The broad, well weighted and fruit forward palate is beguiling in many ways. Stewed orchard fruit, toasted sourdough, ripe peach and hints of guava give way to a ripe citrus driven finish. The natural balance of this wine allows for a brut nature style, one that really showcases the purity of the fruit from JoJo’s vineyard in 2021.
